SALES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Unless otherwise noted all of the products sold either directly by The Solar Biz Inc. or on The Solar Biz™ web site are brand new first line products. We never sell seconds, blems or refurbished products. They include all factory warranties available from the manufacturer in effect at the time of sale. Shipping shortages and DOA equipment must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of shipment.

To cancel your order, simply call during normal business hours and speak with your sales representative or our customer service department. If your order has not yet been processed, and your credit card has not been charged there is no cancellation fee.

If your order has already been processed and your credit card was charged, there is an 8% cancellation fee which will be deducted from your refund.

Some manufacturers charge a cancellation fee even if the order has not shipped. Conergy, Schneider/Xantrex and Surrette Batteries charge 25% in this circumstance.

 If any portion of your order has shipped, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. We do not refund shipping charges. 

 We will process a refund or credit toward your account, within 48 hours of the receipt in our warehouse of all products that have been returned, with the following provisions:

1. You obtain an RMA # from customer service before returning a product. Returns without an RMA # on the box will be refused.
2. Returns are only accepted within 30 days of shipment.
3. The merchandise is returned in new and unused condition in the original packaging.
4. Returns will not be accepted if the product has been installed in any way.
5. Packaging must be in good condition without any markings, in new and resalable condition with the original blank warranty cards, manuals, and all accessories.
6. If any component or packaging of the returned product is missing or damaged, the return procedure is breached and The Solar Biz may either reject the return or may choose to impose additional charges for replacement of the missing component(s) or damaged packaging.

 Many products are custom built. Some are not cancellable at all once they are put into production. Other custom built items are not returnable once they ship. These items include but are not limited to power panels, battery boxes, Sunfrost refrigerators, mounting racks and trackers, and some Surrette batteries.

 If you need to cancel an order for a custom product, there is a manufacturer cancellation fee provided the item has not shipped. The cancellation fee will vary depending upon the manufacturer and can be as much as 50% of the cost of the item.
