FX HOOD rough cut opening is 10-1/8” x 10-1/8”
The approved vent terminal must be installed so that flue gases will not jeopardize people, overheat combustible structures or enter into buildings, and so that proper clearances are maintained.
 | The vent terminal shall not be less than 7 feet above a public walkway. |
| The vent terminal shall terminate at least 3 feet above any (mechanical) air inlet within 10 feet. |
| The vent terminal shall not be within a 6-foot radius from a gas meter or regulator. |
| The vent terminal shall be a minimum of 6 feet from any combustion air inlet. |
| The vent terminal shall terminate from an opening window, at least 4 feet below or 4 feet horizontally from the opening. |
| The vent terminal shall terminate from a door, at least 1 foot above and 4 feet horizontally from the door. |
| The vent terminal shall not be less than 3 feet from an adjacent building. |
| The vent terminal shall not be less than 1 foot above grade. |
