Propane Refrigerators are quiet
reliable units that have no moving parts and require no electricity to run.
Construction features include: Enameled steel exterior, polyurethane insulation,
molded door liner with 18 egg tray, crisper drawer, and reversible door
mounting. Includes safety gas shut-off and piezo igniter.
Propane consumption is 650 BTU/hr. with low flame and 1600 BTU/hr. with high flame. Dry cell battery illumination. Limited 1 year warranty.
The Danby model uses about 8 gallons of propane per month. This is a great refrigerator for those living off the grid or for those who want to conserve energy. Because the Danby refrigerator uses LP gas, there's no moving parts to wear out other than the doors.

The best rate for truck freight shipping is for you to pick it up at a local freight terminal.
The second best rate is a commercial business drop point.
The most expensive rate is a residential delivery. A
residential delivery is usually $45 to $85 more than a commercial business delivery (see above chart).A lift gate, not always available, (which drops the goods off at ground level), is usually an additional $80 to $100 in extra fees.

Receiving Your Refrigerator
Please do not sign for anything until you have inspected your product. You have spent good money on it, and it was shipped in good condition. If you don't inspect it, and open the unit at home and find “hidden damage”, there is absolutely no recourse for a truck freight claim.
All claims for damage MUST be made at the time of receipt of the unit. Note any damage on the bill of lading before signing off. It is a relatively painless process to get a another new unit or even replacement parts if you do so.
In addition, please do not refuse an obviously damaged unit. You will still be charged for it. Freight damage is very rare, but proper documentation and reporting of any damage will really expedite the claims process.
