Aquasolar 400 Submersible Fountain Pump                     

Made in Germany. Compact and low maintenance, this underwater solar pump will add an attractive fountain or waterfall feature to your garden pond, while running only by the power of the sun. This pump is extremely efficient compared to other pumps of similar flow rate. The 400 model will run on only one 20W solar panel (sold separately). The pump is also able to cope with murky water. Each pump comes with a 1-year warranty and replacement parts are available.

This small submersible pump is designed to be powered by one or two 20-watt PV modules depending upon location, or a 12 or 24 volt battery. It can operate continuously on the 16 to 20 volt open circuit output of a solar module directly or it can run on Battery DC current. It is made in Germany and is an extremely high quality pump.  Flow rate is adjustable on the pump body. The pump housing acts as an intake screen filtering out larger particles in the water. The built-in outlet adapter can receive ½” or ¾” pipe thread. Electrical Cord length is 15 feet. Size of Pump is 4 1/2"D X 6"L see picture, a little shorter than a dollar bill. Daytime 20 Watt Solar Water Fountain Pump Kit At 12 or 24 Volt

Realistically with a 20 watt panel you will easily be able to pump about 4 feet high when running directly off of a solar panel. Some people get away with up to 6 ft. So if you have a short to medium sized fountain, 20 watts will do just fine in most locations.

Most yard fountains (Like the one pictured above) are 4 to 6 feet tall. Depending on your location, and orientation to the sun (South being the absolute best), you may require a 24 volt system (2 solar modules in series) to get the lift and PSI desired. If this is the case plan on ordering the Daytime Kit with two 20 watt modules. Again, please feel free to call us for help. We can answer your questions!

All Day Solar Water Fountain Pump Kit                                  

The pump/battery system includes a controller to work with 12 volt or 24 volt storage batteries, This pump system runs all day, I sometimes forget and leave mine running all night, and it does fine. The kit includes one (1) Aquasolar 400 Fountain Pump, one (1) PVCM10  12 or 24 Volt Charge Controller,  an off-on switch, and, depending on your order, one or two 20 Watt Solar Modules and one or two Deep Cycle AGM Batteries with series cable.

Some additional wire from the modules to the pump plug, and a mount for the solar module may be required to complete your installation. We can supply UV resistant wire for the modules for whatever length you require. We also have battery boxes that look like rocks for your yard,  bl.

Out Own Sun Di-Lite Solar Fountain Pump                                  

Great for ponds and fountains that are required to stay active for long periods of time! Because these pumps are so energy efficient, you can keep your fountain on all the time with little thought to energy consumption.

The Sun Di-Lite is excellent for fountains, waterfalls, fish-ponds, and other uses. It may be less expensive to install a solar pump than to run power to a remote location. It runs only in daylight hours so there's no batteries or electronics to maintain.

A 12 volt solar panel is required (sold separately), with a minimum power rating of at least 55 watts. A 55 watt panel will only run the pump in bright sunny conditions so if you want to maximize the running power consider purchasing a larger panel see our recommendation chart below.

That is at least a 450 Gallon Per Hour (GPH) flow rate at 6 ft! A minimum of 55 Watts at 12 volts Solar Module is required to run this pump! Performance depends on location and orientation to the sun. A larger solar module will give you better low light performance.
