Spin Down, Sediment Filters                                 

Designed specifically to filter particulate matter from large volumes of water while keeping size (and cost) within manageable limits, this cartridge uses centrifugal force to spin particles out of the main stream and collects it at the bottom for easy discharge.

Spin -DownTM Filters with Flush Valves Available with Polyester or Stainless Steel Screens & High Performance covers for chemical applications.

Use Stainless Steel filters or screens if you will encounter staining from iron etc. requiring periodic handling and cleaning of the filter.

In general, us the coarsest screen deemed necessary to filter the material you want removed. This will result in longer runs between blow-downs.

Algae grows in the presence of light under the clear filter cover, if you have this problem order the SUN SHIELD  in the parts section below.

 

When ordering specify filter and screen size.

Example: #1.5 - 100-F is a 11/2" filter with a 100 mesh screen size.

Sediment Trappers - Sediment Filters                 

Polyester filter screens designed to filter particulate matter from large volumes of water while keeping size (and cost) within manageable limits, this cartridge uses centrifugal force to spin particles out of the main stream, collecting it at the bottom for easy discharge.

The Sediment Trapper differs from the Spin Down Filter in capacity to store filtered particulate matter in the bottom half of the filter cover, requiring less frequent flushing of filtered material.

Minimum Flow Rates: 1 GPM (3/4" x 1"); 10 GPM (1.5"); 18 GPM (2"). Dimensions: 3/4" Sc 1" (5" x 13 1/2").

Maximum pressure: 150 psi (3/4" & 1"); 125 psi (1 1/2"); 100 psi (2").
